WHAT IT IS
Mobility help arranged before you land, not improvised at the door
Nairobi's airports are hard on foot even for a confident traveller, and much harder for anyone who uses a wheelchair or tires quickly. The assistance available on the day is limited and handed out first-come, first-served, so a passenger who arrives with nothing arranged can wait a very long time.
We arrange the assistance in advance and put a named person on it. Depending on what you ask for, that can be an airport wheelchair and a trained pusher waiting at the aircraft door, a companion guiding the passenger through immigration and baggage, or help boarding and settling into the seat on the way out. We confirm the details with the airport before the flight and send you the name of the person who will meet you.
If the passenger travels with their own wheelchair we can have it carried and returned at the door, and we are glad to arrange assistance for a companion or family member travelling alongside. Tell us plainly what is needed and we will tell you plainly what we can do.
