FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answers before you ask

Everything we get asked about airport transfers, tour packages, payments and cancellations. If your question is not here, WhatsApp us — a real person will answer.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Fill in the enquiry form on our homepage or send us a WhatsApp message on +254 719 276227. Share your flight number, arrival date and time, the number of passengers and your drop-off address. We confirm your vehicle and driver details within 15 minutes.

Yes. We track every flight number you give us, so if your flight is delayed or arrives early your driver is adjusted automatically. There is no extra charge for waiting caused by a delayed flight.

We specialise in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and Wilson Airport (WIL), and we also handle transfers to and from all Nairobi hotels, residences, offices and the SGR station. Longer transfers to Naivasha, Nakuru, Amboseli, Nanyuki and Mombasa are available on request.

Fares depend on the vehicle type, the drop-off location and the time of day. A standard sedan from JKIA to the Nairobi CBD or Westlands is our most popular option. Send us your details and we will quote you an all-inclusive price - there are no hidden charges.

On arrival our driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board or company signage. If you add the Meet & Greet option we will wait from the moment your flight lands and help with your luggage.

Yes, child seats and booster seats are available free of charge on request. Just tick Child Seats under Special Requirements when you submit your enquiry.

All our airport transfer prices are per vehicle, not per person, and they include fuel, the driver and airport parking. That means a group of four travelling together pays the same as a single traveller in the same vehicle category.

An arrival transfer collects the passenger at the airport and takes them to a hotel, residence or meeting. A departure transfer collects them from their address and delivers them to the terminal in time for the flight. They are booked separately because they are rarely the same date, or the same vehicle.

At least twelve hours ahead, and earlier for a very early flight. We plan the pick-up so the passenger reaches the terminal three hours before an international departure and two hours before a domestic one.

TOUR PACKAGES

Absolutely. Every itinerary on this site is a starting point. Tell us your travel dates, the number of travellers, your interests and your budget and we will build a tailor-made programme for you.

Unless stated otherwise, packages include transport in a safari vehicle with a professional driver-guide, park entry fees, accommodation on the stated meal plan, and bottled drinking water. International flights, visas, travel insurance and personal items are excluded.

The Great Migration usually arrives in the Mara between July and October, which is the most dramatic time for game viewing. January to March is excellent for birdlife and fewer crowds, and the green season offers the best value rates.

PAYMENTS & BOOKING

We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer and card payments. Airport transfers are confirmed after a deposit, with the balance payable to the driver or before departure. Tour packages require a 30% deposit to secure bookings, with the balance due before travel.

Yes. We issue a proper tax invoice with our PIN for corporate accounts, NGOs and travel agents. Let us know at the time of enquiry and we will set you up on a monthly credit account if you book regularly.

Airport transfers can be cancelled free of charge up to 6 hours before the pickup time. Tour package cancellations depend on the lodges and suppliers involved; we always share the applicable terms in writing before you pay a deposit.

Yes. We work with corporates, embassies, NGOs, tour operators and conference organisers on negotiated rates and dedicated vehicles. Contact us with your expected volumes and we will prepare a corporate rate card.

AIRPORT FAST TRACKING

Wilson Airport handles domestic and charter flights and has no international immigration queue, so fast tracking there is usually unnecessary. Meet & Greet at Wilson is still worth booking — the terminal is small but arrivals can be chaotic, and a greeter makes the handover to your driver quick.

It needs at least 24 hours' notice, because the slot has to be lodged with the terminal and approved before the flight lands. Tell us sooner if you can and we will confirm the slot in writing.

The flight number, the date and time, the number of passengers, the nationality of each passenger, and their full names as they appear on the passport. The names have to match the passport exactly, otherwise the agent cannot be matched to the passenger at the terminal. We do not collect passport numbers on the website — send a photo of the passport page on WhatsApp once we have confirmed your booking.

No. Our fee covers the agent and the fast-track slot only. Kenya requires an eTA for most visitors, and it has to be applied for and paid for separately before travel. Assistance at the eTA desk on arrival is included; the fee itself is not.

Yes, and most of our clients book them together. The agent takes the passenger through the fast-track lane, and the host or the driver is waiting on the other side. Book the fast tracking here and add the rest in the notes, or tell us on WhatsApp.

MEET AND ASSIST

Arrivals if the passenger is landing at JKIA or Wilson Airport and needs someone waiting inside the terminal. Departure if they are flying out and need help from the terminal entrance through to the gate. Transit if they are changing flights and staying inside the terminal between an inbound and an onward flight.

Meet & Assist puts a named host with your passengers from the moment they walk into the terminal: name board, luggage, escort through immigration and customs, and the handover to the driver. Fast Tracking adds an accredited agent who takes them through the immigration fast-track lane ahead of the queue. You can book either on its own, or both together.

No. Plenty of clients book Meet & Assist on its own — for a colleague arriving on business, or for family who already have a hotel shuttle arranged. We simply walk them out to the shuttle or to a reputable taxi instead of handing them to our driver.

Nothing changes and nothing extra is charged. Your host tracks the flight number rather than a fixed time, so they are there when the aircraft actually lands. If a delay turns into a cancellation, the booking moves to the new flight.

We send a WhatsApp photo of the host, with the name that will be on the board, before the flight lands. The host waits where arriving passengers come out of customs, so there is one clear meeting point.

WHEELCHAIR SERVICES

Either. The airport can supply a wheelchair and a pusher, or we can carry the passenger's own wheelchair through and return it at the aircraft door. Tell us which you need in the form and we arrange it with the airline and the terminal in advance.

At least 48 hours, so the airline can be notified on the passenger's booking and the terminal can assign staff. We can sometimes arrange it sooner — ask us and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.

Yes. One companion is escorted through with the passenger at no extra charge. Give us their name in the notes so the terminal is expecting two people.

No. We arrange wheelchair and mobility assistance for arrivals, departures and transit passengers, including passengers connecting between flights. Choose the flow that matches the journey in the form.

SGR TICKETS

We book the seats and send you the e-ticket by email, and by WhatsApp if you prefer. Every passenger must carry the ID or passport used at the time of booking — the crew checks it against the ticket and a different document will not be accepted.

The Madaraka Express between Nairobi Terminus (Syokimau) and Mombasa Terminus (Miritini), calling at Athi River, Emali, Mtito Andei, Voi and Miasenyi. Pick the station pair in the booking form and we will confirm the seats.

Yes. Book the first journey here, then either book the return separately or give us both dates in the notes and we will do both on one booking.

Three to five days ahead in peak season, because seats are released in advance and the popular departures sell out first. We will tell you what is left before you pay anything.

Yes. We can add a transfer to or from any station on the line, and the airport, so the train and the road journey are arranged together. Ask for it in the notes and we will quote both.
